Whitening through Zoom QuickPro is more gradual than Zoom WhiteSpeed. It does, however, offer some advantages. First, the procedure takes only around 10 minutes. Second, your dentist can perform it after your regular dental check-up.
The procedure is very straightforward: we will paint a thin coat of whitening varnish on each tooth and follow it up with a protective sealant. You may leave the clinic right after, although you will have to brush off the varnish after 30 minutes. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to yet; we will give you precise instructions.
Zoom WhiteSpeed, meanwhile, takes longer at 45 minutes. For this procedure, we apply 25% hydrogen peroxide gel to your teeth and shine a Phillips Zoom WhiteSpeed blue LED lamp onto your mouth. The light helps accelerate the bleaching process and is mainly responsible for the noticeable improvements immediately after the procedure.
We repeat this process three times in one session, explaining the estimated treatment duration. The results vary per patient, but you could expect your teeth to be whiter by up to eight shades. With Zoom WhiteSpeed, you can expect a more instantaneous and dramatic result.
