Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. David Raiffe knew he wanted to become a dentist when he was 10 years old. He and all of his siblings, and even his parents and grandparents, saw the same family dentist. They built strong, comfortable relationships with the dentist and team, and because of that, even as a child, Dr. David Raiffe loved visiting the dentist. He wanted to provide the same welcoming environment and build lifelong friendships and relationships with his wonderful patients.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. David Raiffe received his DDS degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio. Following this, he went on to complete a one-year post-doctoral residency at Southbury Training School in Connecticut, received special training in treating disabled patients, and completed an additional two-year post-doctoral training program at the Weatherhead School of Management, where he earned his MBA.

He is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and Arizona Dental Association, which helps him stay up-to-date with all of the latest advancements in the field of dentistry.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. David Raiffe is originally from Linden, New Jersey and has three children who are all adults, four dogs, and two cats. Much of his free time is spent trying to train his dogs and keep them from eating the cats, but whenever he isn’t caught up in managing the furry dynamics of his home, he’s learning the latest techniques and methods to provide his patients with the greatest dental care.

Dr. David Raiffe loves his job and dentistry so much that he never intends to retire. For him, dentistry has long passed the point of being a profession and is now an overarching obsession in his life. He’s excited to build lifelong relationships with his patients in Scottsdale and provide families with the top-tier dentistry and service they deserve.
