Get to Know Dr. Emily Maslovich

Originally from Alma, Michigan, Dr. Emily Maslovich is one of our newest members and we’re more than happy to have her join our team. She loves being able to build strong relationships with her patients and working closely with them so they can achieve their dream smiles. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you reach your unique dental goals. Keep reading to learn a little more about her before coming in for your visit!

Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

For Dr. Maslovich, meeting and helping people has always been a great passion of hers. Growing up, she also found that she had an affinity for art and science. Later on, when she discovered that dentistry was essentially the perfect intersection of her favorite things, she knew this was the career path she wanted to pursue. Today, she gets to engage in exactly the kind of work that feels fulfilling to her while helping improve the lives of others.  

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Maslovich first graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy before moving on to study at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. Since then, she’s completely extensive training in various areas, including airway-focused dentistry, facial esthetics and injectables, laser dentistry, and pediatric dentistry. She loves providing exceptional patient experiences along with comprehensive clinical care for her patient’s oral and overall wellness.

Dr. Maslovich remains dedicated to pursuing continuing education to advance her skills and expertise in the field. She is also a proud member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, as she enjoys helping patients work towards enjoying their dream looks!

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

If you don’t see her at the office, Dr. Maslovich is likely spending time with her fiancé as well as their two dogs keep them joyful and entertained at home. Whenever she has time, she enjoys traveling, baking sourdough, playing the piano, riding horses, and hanging out with family. One fun fact about her: she used to cross the US/Canadian border twice a day during her undergraduate studies, as she lived in Ontario, Canada while going to school in Detroit.
