Get to Know Dr. Kristen Graham

Dr. Kristen Graham has been part of the world of dentistry for well over two decades, and she remains just as passionate as the day she started! Originally from Maryland, she finds it incredibly rewarding to serve and care for people while making them feel better about their smiles. Being able to see them improve both their pearly whites as well as their overall quality of life is one of the reasons she does what she does. Read on to learn more about her background and experience!
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Ever since she can remember, Dr. Graham has wanted to serve and help others. Smiling is one of the simplest expressions of joy, and joy can change lives as well as the world. She also took very seriously the oath of “do no harm,” and she wanted to help protect people against the toxicities she saw while practicing conventional dentistry, such as removing harmful mercury fillings out of patients’ mouths. Being a guide for a person’s dental healing journey is fulfilling, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Graham attended the University of Maryland, College Park for her undergraduate degree before studying at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Baltimore for her dental doctorate. Before then, she was a certified orthodontic assistant since the age of 17. She’s been a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology since 2016, and she also completed her American College of Integrative Medicine and Dentistry master’s program. She’s attended three years of naturopathic medical school in AZ, and she’s been practicing biological dentistry ever since. Other than seeking continuing education regularly to expand her skills, she is also a member of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy and the Healthy Start program.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Whenever you don’t see her at the office, Dr. Graham usually spends time every day taking care of and riding her horse, walking her dog, and going on trips up north to hike and get into nature. She has served on the board for the AZ chapter of Children’s Health Defense since 2022, as she greatly enjoys helping kids and improving their sleep and breathing. She’s also a Christian and loves studying the bible.
